VG-EC except a small repaired top crack and several repaired side cracks, this is the fanciest Fairbanks guitar that has been seen, with engraved column pattern on ivoroid-bound ebony fretboard and unique abalone and engraved pearl inlay with checkerboard trim around the ivoroid-bound spruce top. Also beautifully engraved pearl on the sides of the ebony pyramid bridge. All engraving shows the hand of Boston master engraver Icilio Consalvi. Brazilian rosewood sides, back, ivoroid-bound peghead overlay and backstrap, checkerboard surrounds the ivoroid binding on the back. mahogany neck, ladder braced body, backstrip stamped ''J.F.
