Quite simply, this is one of the most impressive Revival Dreadnoughts I have yet put my hands on. When I hear the pharse "Maple Breedlove", I would normally think of a custom shop concert, decked out with with quilt Maple back/side set. But with the arrival of this instrument, "Maple Breedlove" will by necessity include a nod to the Revival Series.
This is the third guitar in the 2007 Calendar series, and it is a Breedlove Revival Custom Draednought. The back and sides are of Flamed Maple, with a Maple neck, and the top is Red Spruce (as is the top bracing). The top, back, sides, and neck/headstock are all finished in Breedlove Sunburst. Binding is Ivoroid. Other features include an Abalone Rosette, dot fret markers, and Gold Waverly Tuners.
This is a very inspiring instrument to play, with a full, clear and open tone. If you have been looking for a world class dreadnought that is a little off the beaten path, this Revival Dreadnought Custom is guaranteed to knock your socks off.

This is a Classic Marshall Amp with all the tone at lower power. This is a Phoenix Rising model from McNaught essentially a solid body double cutaway design. It comes with an over the top Diamond Quilt Maple top finished in the finest shade of "Ruby Red" I have ever seen over a solid mahogany body. The entire body and neck are bound with natural Flamed Maple. The unique McNaught headstock is covered in matching Quilt Maple with the same Ruby Red finish and is equipped with Gold Sperzel locking tuners. The truss rod cover and heal cap are covered in Quilt Maple as well.
The Ruby Red top is off set by all Gold Hardware and equipped with a set of Jason Lollar Imperial pickups with cream surrounds. The control knobs and switches are placed in carved recesses in the top with the volume knob right where it needs to be just below the bridge. It has a Sitka Spruce top and solid Maple neck with chrome Grover tuners. The fretboard is Ebony with the traditional Focus inlay. The black binding contrasts well with the Curly Maple. The controls for the LR Baggs Dual Element pickup system are easily accessed through the sound hole that is surrounded by an Abolone Rosette.
The factory calls this one a "second" but I can not find anything wrong with it, and I am very picky about these things. This is a Breedlove Atlas Series guitar with a deep concert body and soft cutaway. It comes with a Sitka Spruce Top and great Flamed Maple body with a Sunburst finish. Equally as stunning as all Warrior Custom Shop Acoustic guitars, this one is appointed with copious amounts of Purple Heart within the Ebony binding, surrounding the Pearl inlay of the Rosette and laminated into the neck. Most conspicuously is the all Purple Heart Bridge off set on either side with Pearl inlay and positioned in the center of the Piano White top.
The instrument is further finished off with beautiful Pearl purfling surrounding the guitar's top, back, headstock, and both sides of the fretboard with a solid Pearl heal cap. A multicolored Angel of Pearl inlay adorns the fretboard at the 5th fret giving the instrument its name, the Archangel. Off set with an oiled mahogany neck and a wide strip of Purple Heart running through its center and Gold hardware, it is hard to imagine this instrument not getting noticed.
Although an exceptionally beautiful instrument, the sustain and beautiful tone of this guitar would make it stand out even in a dark room or a crowded stage. This is a Classic Martin Dreadnought with a rare sunburst finish that has grown more beautiful over the years. This is a 1976 model D-35 that I purchased new. As with most Martin D-35's this guitar has great volume and a deep bass tone that has also improved with age.
This is a great rhythm guitar, and I have found it perfect for finger picking because of its wide neck. This guitar is a great instrument for slide players as well. The clear tone and volume you get from using a bottle neck with this Martin is something special. The pick guard is pulling away a bit but the body is pretty much perfect for a 30 year old acoustic that has traveled with me everywhere.
