This particular Froggy Bottom Guitar is called an MK-Std for the M Body and K for Koa. Koa because of the amazing Flamed Koa used on the body and Std, for standard, because it has few adornments with the exception of the Pearl Frog inlay in the headstock that is the company trade mark.
Once you look at the photos you may disagree with the term standard for this guitar. Any instrument with Flamed Koa like this guitar has does not need anything else. The tone and volume from this small concert sized instrument is exceptional. The intonation is perfect and the sound is extremely balanced with even mid range and good bass. This is a Roya Model from Ritter depicting its unique body shape. While I absolutely love this instrument it is traditional in shape compared to some Ritter designs. The material, workmanship and finish of this instrument are unparalleled. I realize how good the photos look, but you still have to see it to get the full affect.
The top is the best piece of Quilted Maple on anything I own (guitars or funriture), and it is matched only by the piece of Flamed Maple on the back, or maybe it's the solid Flamed Maple neck. The active pickups are covered in Ebony and the instrument has all Gold hardware including the Gold Ritter signiture tuners. The headstock is signed and numbered by Ritter himself.
The neck is attached with no less than ten massive screws. The shape of this instrument is at once sensually almost erotic and yet amazingly functional. It is a very comfortable instrument to play. It has a very strong acoustic voice for a solid body instrument. The strings chime, but when plugged in it is a kaleidoscope of sound begging to be pushed into new territory. This is a Breedlove "S" Series Auditorium design with a shallow body and soft cutaway. The Auditorium body is more Bell shaped, larger at the bottom and narrower at the top. With the soft cutaway this one resembles a classic jazz instrument from the past in many ways. It has a strong bass tone and good volume indicative of this design.
This guitar was upgraded with a beautiful Myrtlewood body and sides with alternating dark and light grains. It has a thin Mother of Pearl rosette. The fretboard is Ebony with a series of offset dots. The Breedlove Phoenix is normally built upon the C10 body shape-a shallow bodied (4 1/16") concert-sized guitar without a cutaway. The Phoenix is one of my favorite models, and so a few months ago, I decided I would like to find out what it would be like to have the same guitar in a C15 format (shallow body, soft cutaway). Here is the result.
The Phoenix is built with some of the most phenomenal woods available, resulting in an instrument that is a superb choice for finger style players as well as strummers. The dark, mysterious tone of the Phoenix comes from the sublime combination of a Redwood top and Ziricote back and sides. It is an incredibly responsive guitar, with a deep bass character that is powerful but not overbearing. The overall tone is rich and warm, and harmonically complex.
The inlay and rosette are particularly stricking on this Phoenix with lots of green and pink hues in the Abalone.

This is a Phoenix Rising model from McNaught essentially a solid body double cutaway design. It comes with an over the top Diamond Quilt Maple top finished in the finest shade of "Ruby Red" I have ever seen over a solid mahogany body. The entire body and neck are bound with natural Flamed Maple. The unique McNaught headstock is covered in matching Quilt Maple with the same Ruby Red finish and is equipped with Gold Sperzel locking tuners. The truss rod cover and heal cap are covered in Quilt Maple as well.
The Ruby Red top is off set by all Gold Hardware and equipped with a set of Jason Lollar Imperial pickups with cream surrounds. The control knobs and switches are placed in carved recesses in the top with the volume knob right where it needs to be just below the bridge. A couple of months back I was talking to a customer about the Ed Gerhard model, and we were wondering how it might sound with a Myrtlewood back and sides. Not long after that conversation, This guitar arrived. And now I know, and I can highly recommend the combination.
The Breedlove J15 is a shallow body Jumbo with a soft cutaway. The top is of German Spruce, and as I mentioned there's a beautiful Myrtlewood back/sides set. These woods are complimented with a Master Class Flamed Maple binding. A pair of Swans adorns the Ebony fretboard, inlaid in Pearl.
This J15 offers a powerful, focused bass and a sweetly ringing treble. It is very versatile and sounds great when strummed lightly, and there is plenty of head room for heavier styles. It is also a sweet finger styler (as you might expect from a guitar that has so much in common with a Gerhard Model).

Warrior Guitars has once again pushed the creative envelope with their new F-Hole series, the Mark Alson Model. Imagine Guitars is pleased to have the first two of this series ever created, and they are special instruments indeed.
This one has an unbeleivable Sculpted Maple Burl top with matching pickup covers. It has a chambered body with a classically carved F-Hole through the almost half inch Burl top that maintains the resonance while adding an acoustic quality to the instrument and lowering the overall weight of the guitar to just 6.2 pounds.
Unplugged the guitar has a loud bell like ringing acoustic tone when strummed, but plug it in and it screams with sustain for days. This instrument has matching wooden control knobs with Pearl and Walnut inlay. It comes with an LR baggs piezo acoustic pickup system and stereo outputs that can be switched to blend the electric and acoustic tones on the fly.
The Mahogany neck is beautifully laminated with Maple, Purple Heart,and Ebony to make it ultra stable and rigid and has an oil finish like the body. The headstock is laminated in the same Maple Burl as the top and is equipped with silver Sperzel tuners. The Ebony fretboard is adorned with an unbeleivably intricate Mother of Pearl Archangel inlay scene that transverses the entire fretboard.
