These Kelton boutique Vintage Replicas are Nashville's best kept secret. You won't be able to tell it from the real thing! Many famous artist's have been playing Kelton Tele's on stage, while touring and leaving the originals at home.
This boutique 1959 Stratocaster Vintage Replica was hand-built by Kelton Swade whose family has a 400 year fine woodworking tradition that dates back to Europe. The end result is an awesome guitar that not only is unique in its vintage appearance but in how it plays and how it sounds. An extensive amount of extra relicing went into this beauty. She has a thin black nitro cellulose lacquer finish on an Alder body and period correct 7.25" Radius Maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and "clay" dot fingerboard markers. Features include, Fender pups, aged hardware and a laminated 3-layer celluloid pickguard. Period correct in every way, including the serial number, 31300! You won't be able to tell it from a real 1959 Strat. Kelton's aging process is just that good! She weighs in very light at 7.1 lbs. and she has more resonance than any! The Brazilian fretboard gives a much deeper tone and the thin finish really lets it out! The vibe will get you right in the ribs! The neck pickup screams Hendrix/SRV, and the lead is all over the SRV tone he was getting on In Step. It's got the high end fidelity to really scream, bite, soar and articulate - with great harmonics and overtones. She's powerful and punchy, but also really sweet, too. Rare a Strat covers both of those bases.

This kind of wood is not only beautiful, but it is also very resonate. Sound is captured as stress between the grain and travels as it resonates through the body adding an extra dimension of sound. Along with the "Sustain Sisters," Gibson's original design, 2 5/8" solid brass circular studs, implanted in the center block into which the Tune-O-Matic Bridge is set, brilliance and sustain are further enhanced. When a string is played, these Sustain Sisters convert the string variations to physical energy, thus activating the top to do it's thing. Classic semi-hollowbody design and dual '57 Gibson humbuckers combine to produce everything from full-bodied growls to singing sustain. The sound is awesome, warm, full bodied, clean and versatile with the ability to go from clean warm tones through to smoking distortion.
