Through computer modeling, thousands of dollars in experimentation, including countless types of acoustic padding and packing materials, Redstone Audio achieved its design goals on a custom dual cone Eminence 12" speaker in the same cabinet volume as that of the RS-10 and RS-10V. Just in! The RS-10 sounds much like the RS-8 in tone, but with a bit more efficiency and more low end extension, but it still retains good feedback resistance. The RS-10 pairs well with archtops that tend to be darker in tone such as Gibson L-5, but it also work great with X-braced spruce tops. If your present setup is too boomy for you, either the RS-8 or the RS-10 is your cabinet. Also rated at over 400w peak/200w average @ 8 Ohms.
