Analog Man is known as one of the finest effects manufacturers and modifiers. This Mini Chorus is true bypass and based on the Clone Chorus by Electro-Harmonix, considered by many to be one of the best pedals ever made. These also have more shielding, less jumpers, and no volume drop when the pedal is switched ON.
Chorus is a blend of normal (dry) sound, and a delayed, modulated vibrato-type sound (wet). The standard setting on all our chorus pedals is 50% wet and 50% dry, for a normal chorus sound. With a MIX control, you can tweek it from about 25% to 75% wet, by turning the knob or trim pot. At the center setting, it is the normal 50% sound. There is a notch detent on the external MIX KNOB at 12:00 so you can feel the stock setting. Mix adjusts only the mono output (stereo output is not affected). MIX is available externally only on the mini chorus, it is a standard internal trim pot on the bichorus and an option on the standard chorus.

Beginning with two EL84 power tubes in Class A, a newly designed speaker and cabinet, three foot switchable channels and two powerful voicing switches, the Studiotone sound brings to mind the British valve amps of the 60's. The three channels (clean, overdrive & overdrive +) take you from round warm tones to saturated EL84 overdrive & compression. The 2-way 'Mid Shift' allows you to boost the mid frequencies around 800 Hz and the 3-way 'Bright' switch allows you to cut or boost the high frequencies for fine tuning the top end. Some of the big surprises are left for the back panel though, and a quick inspection reveals a serial effects loop, a recording output with microphone placement and cabinet style simulators, two line outputs (one unfiltered and one low level) and a ‘Headphone Out’ jack. The pedal has a compressed, deep effect to allow equal sustain throughout the fretboard.
Tone control was specifically designed to allow tones from mellow fuzz, through slight midcut to thin bright fuzz.
