2007 Gibson Flying V, Mint $699.00

SKU: GFV1
2007 Gibson Flying V, all original ,faded Cherry mahogany body with Gibson padded soft case. A certain aura surrounds the Gibson Flying V. A guitar well ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1958, the Flying V?s intense magnetic appeal, powerful sound, and unusually familiar shape have made it one of the most instantly recognizable guitars in the world. Legendary Gibson President Ted McCarty was looking to add a futuristic aspect to the company?s image when he introduced the Flying V, and he definitely succeeded. From the 1957 Gibson gazette,"the swept back tapered lines of this forward looking guitar will be an asset to the musician with a flair for showmanship". Boy they were not kidding as it later became an iconic part of the Gibson line. more information »

1962 Silvertone 1423 Jupiter, Excellent $750.00

SKU: S1423
Greg's Guitars Atlanta brings yet another cool, collectible, rare vintage guitar to the table, The Sears brand guitar sold in the 60's, built by Harmony. Branded both by Harmony as the H-49.and as a Silvertone 1423 "Jupiter" model. These killer guitars are very similar in body shape to a Les Paul but with a semi-hollow body... It's incredibly light. This one weighs in at an even 5 pounds. The "Jupiter" is remarkably versatile with a great sound. It features two vintage and original DeArmond pick-ups built by "Rowe Industries", volume/tone for each pick-up and a three position selector. These are dated 1962.by the pot codes. Very little fret wear, open back original tuners, Nice medium sized neck, not a baseball bat nor is it to slim. The nut width is 1 and inches, rosewood adjustable bridge and tailpiece. Mother of pearl block inlays and rosewood fingerboard. This Guitar comes with a period correct possibly original yellow lined chip style hard case as well. There's also the sweet fifth knob...A rare "BLENDER" switch. This special control is activated when both pick-ups are in the middle position on the 3-way switch. The "BLENDER" knob gradually shifts the weight between the pick-ups. The vintage 1962 Silvertone "Jupiter" has an extremely wide range with the "Blender Circuit". It packs punch for such a small guitar, full of tonal options for recording or playing out with the band. And what is a blender switch? Its like having a wah-wah knob when the two pickups are engaged. It has at least a couple of uses. One is as a standard wah-wah type sound. Play a note while wrapping your pinky around the volume or tone knob, spin it back and forth and you have a classic wah type sound or, set it wherever you like in its tonal sweep and you have a stunning variety of tones from the two pickups blended. more information »

1994 Fender Custom Shop Blue Sparkle Telecaster, Excellent $3,899.00

SKU: 765432
1994 Fender Custom Shop Master Built Blue Sparkle Telecaster with matching headstock for sale at Greg's Guitars. Often referred to as the "Dream Factory", the Fender custom shop in the 1990's arguably has made some of the best guitars to hit the market. During 1994 to 1997 Kenny Gin was a master builder for the Fender Custom Shop .During this time The "Cunetto relics" hit the market and Fender experienced it's fifty year mark with the Stratocasterin 1996 and Kenny Gin the Master builder at Fender was making one off and limited built guitars in small numbers for select Fender dealers, these guitars are well sought after as great players as well as collectible guitars of the era. This particular Blue Sparkle Telecaster was made for Bizarre Guitars located in Arizona. In speaking with them ,they did remember the guitars being made in sets of one Stratocaster and one Telecaster in 3 different sparkle finishes being produced. Now that's pretty limited if you ask me. Indicative to this era this guitar has a highly flamed maple neck ,the guitars electronic cavities are shielded from the custom shop and meticulous attention to detail is observed. The master builders initials are located on the neck butt and the Fender Custom Shop logo appears on the back of the headstock.Extremely lightweight and resonate with it's beautiful rosewood finger board, the radius is at 9.5. Gold hardware adorns this beautiful blue sparkle Custom Shop Master built Telecaster. The bridge saddles are the vintage styled brass 2 strings per each saddle with body through stringing. Blue sparkle with the matching headstock just looks great don't you think? Non original shotgun case. Kenny Gin joined the Fender Custom Shop in 1991 and worked as a Master Builder until he joined Suhr Guitars as a master builder in 1999.WITH COA... ~4350.00 ~ ___________________ more information »
