The Grosh 60`s Fat is born from the beautiful sounding 60`s Vintage pickup. Specifically formulated extra coil winds create a sound with the added growl and push which is preferred when playing through today`s high-end, boutique amplifiers.
While in research and development for single coils, Don Grosh encountered Sixties, pre-CBS pickups with hotter output signals resulting from additional winds of coil wire. These examples had a musically pleasing mid-frequency woodiness to their sound. After sorting and finding the best over-wound samples, the decision was made to sonically model the 60`s Fat after these classics. Don characterizes the 60`s Fat as delivering a thick, growly, muscular tone that still retains the single coil clarity that we expect. The 60`s Fat will maintain inherent tone and individuality of instrument and musician even in the midst of high gain situations.

EL34 models are 80 watts and have a nice throaty growl with aggressive English-style midrange to punch thru the mix. The sweet/rich sounding Reverb option offers individual level controls for each channel, don't need reverb on the clean channel but need a bit on the high-gain channel, no problem dial in just the right level needed. The Shiva also has a Tube-buffered series FX-Loop.

This guitar features resonant korina and solidbody construction with a raised center section on the front. The thicker center mass improves clarity and sustain, while the thinner wings increase resonance for an instrument that is lively, clear and rich in harmonics.

Designed and voiced to behave exactly like several of the most renowned mid-powered amps from Britain. The rich power of 4xEL84's Cathode Biased running in Class A, make this amp an instant hit. The Marquee Club, aside from being more powerful than the London, has a wide tonal palette that can easily range from crystalline, chimey cleans to very aggressive, natural distortion. This amp is "go to" amp for a gigging player who needs a lot of tone in one box. With an extended vocabulary well above most amps of this family, the Marquee Club will serve well. Fair warning, this amp is loud and aggressive and will not cooperate with most wives. At home on the small stage, large club, or arena stage, The Marquee Club will take of the working guitar player very well.
Treble/Mid/Bass channel - Dual gain stage 12AX7 with switchable booster. This channel does excellent British cleans and easily progresses into rich, harmonic saturation that always sounds natural and musical.
