Designed in the tradition of the masters, the Concord features a 12AX7 dual-triode preamp tube driving the signal through a 6V6 power tube. Inspired by the simplicity of the amp designs of the 1960's, the amp controls are Volume, Treble and Bass. Built with top shelf components, this Concord is the real deal. All major components including our custom designed, hand made Real Vintage 10” speaker, are proudly made in America. Brand New amazing Robin Savoy Classic in an Antique Tobacco Finish. Upgraded with special options including Double Crown inlays and Neck and Headstock binding which is not included on the basic Savoy Classic. Hand Crafted in Houston, Texas. Presentation grade arched Flame maple top, semi-hollow mahogany body, f-holes and a one piece mahogany set neck with a Rosewood fretboard, 22 Jumbo frets, 24 - 3/4" scale.
Tone sounds very lively and has a Fat late 50's style neck measuring .899 at the 1st fret and 1.052 at the 12th. Equipped with Rio Grande humbucking pickups, a Barbeque in the neck position and a Genuine Texas at the bridge. 3DPT 500k master volume and tone Potentiometers are push and pull pots, so you can split the coils for a more Strat like or Single coil tone. This makes the guitar very versatile when it comes to the ranges of tones you can get. With the 3-way Toggle switch and push pull pots you have 7 different tonal combinations / options. Warm and sweet, with the acoustic richness and complex overtones only a full size semi-hollow can deliver. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a vintage PAF, and the neck pickup slightly cleaner. Round enough for jazz, but this ray can sting too, with plenty of sustain and attack for rock and blues! The 1-3/4" thick body and flat top gives it a clean, fresh look, and yields a slim and manageable body.
Solid wood construction is featured throughout, with no plywood. The back, sides and center block are produced from one slab of korina which is routed from the top, and then capped with a solid maple flat top with flame maple veneer. Excellent sustain and attack are coupled with substantial resonance, for a uniquely big and responsive tone.
