The Savannah features hand-wired tweed inspired voicing matched with All Tube Tremolo. A pair of 12AX7 dual-triode preamp tubes provide the initial gain and tremolo. The power is handled by a matched pair of 6V6 power tubes in fixed bias. The voice controls are Volume and Tone. The remote foot switch and the Speed and Depth knobs adjust the tremolo from a soft chorus like effect all the way to Crimson & Clover. The Savannah produces 16 watts of shimmering clean to vintage tweed inspired crunch.
Built with top shelf components, the Savannah is the real deal. All major components including ValveTrain's custom designed hand wound transfomers, their high grade aluminum chassis and their eyelt boards are built in America. All of ValveTrain's amps are hand wired at their facility in Sorrento, Florida.
The Savannah delivers a varied tonal spectrum from shimmering cleans through vintage Tweed crunch. A quick flick of guitar volume knob controls the full range of the Savannah's voices. 2008 SC 245 that is in excellent near mint condition. Only a few months old, made in September and has low hours of playing time. Plays like butter, very smooth and natural. There's light swirls on the back in the lacquer, like from a shirt button. Some pick scrapes on the top as well but there are no actual scratches though that go through the clear lacquer finish and into the wood. No dings or dents as well. Good overall condition John Birch Classic SG Special and includes Gibson USA hardshell case. Made in 2004. Has a few modifications and dings but most will agree it plays better because of the modifications. Nothing is in need of attention however, everything works as it should and guitar is ready to be played right out of the box.
It does have a few decent sized dings and scuffs. Some lighter scratches here and there as well. Pickup rings and plastic hardware have some wear but again nothing in need of replacement or attention. Its a players guitar perfect for frequent gigs. Original bridge / tail piece was replaced. Guitar also originally had a ZERO fret that was removed and the nut was move back towards the fingerboard. All modifications were done properly and guitar plays wonderfully.
Guitar Features Through-neck-to-body, Sculptured neck-to-body join and 24 Frets. Full-back scratch plate, John Birch Magnum Pickups and Hand-built to exacting high standards. Black Finish, Cross Inlays with Stainless Steel Scratch Plate.
Weighs in at 8.5 pounds. Larger wide neck with medium back contour that has a typical Vintage like 60's type Gibson SG flat feel on the back. Nut width measures 1 3/4" (wide) and back contour thickness measures .825 at the first fret and .925 at the 12th fret. 10" Fingerboard Radius and has Large 6100 type Frets.

The original Swart Amplifier Co Space Tone 6V6se arose out of musician/recording engineer Michael Swart's attempt to get the most tone and soul from a small, easily manageable package for home/studio use. The result is a stellar amplifier that surpassed ALL expectations.
The Space Tone Tweed Series amplifier is inspired by Classic designs from the single-ended ALL VALVE era 50's. The Circuit is a customized Fender Princeton 5F2/5F1 Champ derivative with Swart's own circuit mods and tweaks thrown into the mix, making this circuit unique sonically.
The tone and clean to distortion character is in a class all its own. Swart thinks this amplifier surpasses any amplifier of this type they've played, both old and new, including the original Tweeds. Along with the original Space Tone 6V6se, this is the sound that Swart Amplifier Co has built on as ground Zero of the BEST DAMN TONE you'll ever hear, regardless.
Each ST-6V6se is hand-wired, point to point, then burned-in and tested before leaving Swart Amplifier Co. There are no circuit or turret boards resulting in the most direct path, this harkening back to when ALL amps were hand wired with care. Cloth wire is used for hookup. Simply put, there are no semiconductors or solid state diodes anywhere as the Space Tone is 100% valve powered.
The Supro inspired cabinet is hand-made finger jointed pine and covered with high quality tweed, then LACQUEED for years and years of wear, all with the vintage style and great tone.
Tubes include the excellent JJ 12AX7, Electro-Harmonix 6V6GT, and JJ 5Y3. It's a Pure triode front end into the great 6V6 all cleaned by 5Y3 tube rectification. All tube designs disappeared because of the extra expense and the emergence of ultra-cheap solid state diodes. Swart feels that eliminating ALL solid state devices is necessary to get the BEST tone without the harsh, metallic sound of solid state.
