The original Swart Amplifier Co Space Tone 6V6se arose out of musician/recording engineer Michael Swart's attempt to get the most tone and soul from a small, easily manageable package for home/studio use. The result is a stellar amplifier that surpassed ALL expectations.
The Space Tone Tweed Series amplifier is inspired by Classic designs from the single-ended ALL VALVE era 50's. The Circuit is a customized Fender Princeton 5F2/5F1 Champ derivative with Swart's own circuit mods and tweaks thrown into the mix, making this circuit unique sonically.
The tone and clean to distortion character is in a class all its own. Swart thinks this amplifier surpasses any amplifier of this type they've played, both old and new, including the original Tweeds. Along with the original Space Tone 6V6se, this is the sound that Swart Amplifier Co has built on as ground Zero of the BEST DAMN TONE you'll ever hear, regardless.
Each ST-6V6se is hand-wired, point to point, then burned-in and tested before leaving Swart Amplifier Co. There are no circuit or turret boards resulting in the most direct path, this harkening back to when ALL amps were hand wired with care. Cloth wire is used for hookup. Simply put, there are no semiconductors or solid state diodes anywhere as the Space Tone is 100% valve powered.
The Supro inspired cabinet is hand-made finger jointed pine and covered with high quality tweed, then LACQUEED for years and years of wear, all with the vintage style and great tone.
Tubes include the excellent JJ 12AX7, Electro-Harmonix 6V6GT, and JJ 5Y3. It's a Pure triode front end into the great 6V6 all cleaned by 5Y3 tube rectification. All tube designs disappeared because of the extra expense and the emergence of ultra-cheap solid state diodes. Swart feels that eliminating ALL solid state devices is necessary to get the BEST tone without the harsh, metallic sound of solid state.

The NEW Port City Wave Cabinet is truly a breakthrough in amplifier cabinet construction and design. This patented design is truly something special. The Port City Wave cabinet is constructed with a 5-inch wide, 45-degree angle sound deflecting rear panel. This panel is dadoed on both sides of the cabinet for ultimate support. Internal sound waves are projected from the back of the speaker down to the bottom of the cabinet where another 45-degree panel projects sound waves towards the front. A 1 1/8 inch angled port runs the width of the cabinet and projects these sound waves out towards you. You can hear the sound normally "lost" inside your cabinet. This design results in a much more responsive and louder cabinet. The tone produced from the Wave cabinet is smooth, even, focused and clear. The Wave cabinet is NOT a detuned cab. It is not designed to boost or cut any certain frequencies. It is designed to harness all the sound your speaker produces. The 1x12 OS Wave cabinet can match most 2x12 cabinets in its volume and depth. When you dig into a bend or chord on your guitar you can hear and feel the difference.

Used Near Mint condition Suhr Classic in Olympic White with Original Hardshell Case and Tremolo Arm. I would rate it 9.5 or better out of 10. Made in 2008. Weight comes in at 7.5 Pounds. Body and neck are flawless without a single Ding, Chip, Scuff or Scratch. Pick Guard has some light pick scrapes and there's some very light playing on the frets but no dents or divots. Guitar has no issues whatsoever and was setup professionally by our shop tech prior to being offered for sale. Tone is quite AMAZING!!! 2008 SC 245 that is in excellent near mint condition. Only a few months old, made in September and has low hours of playing time. Plays like butter, very smooth and natural. There's light swirls on the back in the lacquer, like from a shirt button. Some pick scrapes on the top as well but there are no actual scratches though that go through the clear lacquer finish and into the wood. No dings or dents as well.
