The Dual Fifty is a two channel, hand wired amplifier that was designed as the ultimate pedal platform. This amp not only sounds great but inhales pedals of all kinds! The normal channel of this amp was based off of a Blackface circuit design. Dynamic and clean are two words that can be used in describing this channel. The "thick" channel is more 18 watt grit, yet smooth as silk when not cranked. The jazz players and rockers love this channel. The Dual Fifty is offered in a combo and head variety.
In addition to is 6L6 power tubes the Dual Fifty offers pure tube rectification! (GZ34) A vacuum tube rectifier will yield more to the player's touch dynamics, sound warmer and give the compression and sustain in a way than a solid state rectifier cannot.
The Port City Dual Fifty is handmade in North Carolina using only the highest quality components such as Mojo Dijon and Illinois capacitors, US made replica transformers, vintage style cloth covered wire and Switchcraft jacks. Featuring two highly evolved channels, capable of clean tones that shimmer like icicles in the deep of winter moonlight and tube saturation that is so rich and powerful it should be illegal in the free world. Foot-switchable boost function for both channels, variable for channel 2.
EL34 models are 80 watts and have a nice throaty growl with aggressive English-style midrange to punch thru the mix. The sweet/rich sounding Reverb option offers individual level controls for each channel, don't need reverb on the clean channel but need a bit on the high-gain channel, no problem dial in just the right level needed. The Shiva also has a Tube-buffered series FX-Loop.

This amp has the regular 15W Duende through the front 12" speaker and a second 15W power amp mounted inside the combo on bottom which drives a pair of Jensen 8" speakers on the left and right side. The reverb signal is taped on the main amp and fed through the second power amp so you get the dry sound through the front 12"er and the reverb through the 8"ers on the sides. This gives a real dimensional sound, especially in an enclosed room you have the sound bouncing back from the walls. This Butterscotch finished guitar has a medium "timewarp" also known as a Workingman's aging level. The body is Ash and the neck is Medium C Maple with Jumbo Frets and 1 5/8" Nut Width. Excellent to Near Mint Condition 2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus. All original and loaded with Burstbucker Pickkups. This is a 1 owner guitar and the original owner purchased this guitar directly from Gibson in Nashville from a batch of 10 Guitars. This one stood out the most and was the one he took home. Killer upgraded Flame Maple Top in Hard to Find Transparent Wine Red Finish. Medium to Large size Neck that fits between the feel of a 1959 and 1960 Neck and measures .83 at the 1st Fret to .97 at the 12th Fret. 1 11/16" Nut Width. Light to Medium weight at 8 3/4 pounds. Not the lightest weight I've seen, but close and far from the heaviest. Extremely lively sounding instrument. Cuts through the mix nicely and excels for focused Rock Tones. Used Near Mint condition Suhr Classic in Olympic White with Original Hardshell Case and Tremolo Arm. I would rate it 9.5 or better out of 10. Made in 2008. Weight comes in at 7.5 Pounds. Body and neck are flawless without a single Ding, Chip, Scuff or Scratch. Pick Guard has some light pick scrapes and there's some very light playing on the frets but no dents or divots. Guitar has no issues whatsoever and was setup professionally by our shop tech prior to being offered for sale. Tone is quite AMAZING!!!
