This is truly a Heritage Custom Shop Golden Eagle as shown on the interior label and immediately apparent by the florentine cutaway, the beautiful shaded spruce top and the flamed tiger maple pattered back. The equivalent to the Gibson Wes L-5C, the Golden Eagle shares the same materials and specifications as its Gibson cousin, including the solid carved spruce top, solid flame maple back and sides, inlaid ebony fingerboard and parallel bracing. This guitar has the Florentine cutaway only seen on L5’s of the 1960’s cloud inlays seen on the Epi Deluxe’s of the same vintage with outstanding tiger flame maple throughout. The Florentine cutaway makes it easier to handle and reduces feedback while still maintaining that wonderful puncy carved top sound. This is a terrific hi-end combo amplifier that is favored by gigging electric or acoustic guitar, voice, keyboards or any other instrument due to the balanced response and absolutely pristine clean sound with great reverb and many other effects. In summary, portable, powerful, versatile, and sounds great with 200W of power. This amp features two independent channels with separate eq. so you can run two instruments simultaneously with complete control. Great for a small club gig for any duet: vocals along with keyboard, for example. One channel is a microphone and the other channel is an instrument channel. There is also a balanced out for recording or going to the board.
And the digital reverbs on this are superb, especially for jazz guitar and also vocals. You could carry the head separately and mate it to any cabinet of your choice. You'll need to use speakon cables.
