Hand-built by Kelton Swade whose family has a 400 year fine woodworking tradition that dates back to Europe. The end result is a Telecaster or Stratocaster that not only is unique in its vintage appearance but in how it plays and how it sounds.
Built to the exact specs as Keith Richards 1954 Tele that he nicknamed Malcolm with a Gibson 57 vintage classic Humbucker in the neck and a Fender '52 Tele Upgraded Pickup in the Bridge. This 1954 Telecaster Replica features a 7.25" Radius Maple Neck, Ash Body, 3-ply traditional black white black tele guard, Vintage Style Bridge and Tuners, a Nitro Lacquer Sunburst finish and CTS 250K pots. All period correct, including the serial number, 5234! She weighs in very light at 6.6 lbs. and she has more resonance than any! The vibe will get you right in the ribs! The ABR-1 was added to the Les Paul Model in 1956 with individual saddles to adjust each string's length as well as thumbwheels to adjust the overall height of the bridge. This represented a quantum leap forward in intonation and a marked improvement in tone and sustain. Now with 2 HONKIN' P-90 single coil pickups, a carved Maple top, single-ply cream binding, a rounded neck with a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard, vintage tulip tuners and a ANTIQUE GOLD FINISH, you've got a guitar that's bursting out to please.
P-90s offer a distinctive sound, particularly when used on a maple and mahogany guitar. Weighing in at 9.2 lbs, this guitar has excellent tone and is extremely resonant. You can feel the string vibrations from the neck thru the body. The guitar rings out natural harmonics and sounds incredible distorted. It also has a beautiful clean tone. There's a bit of extra bite to the sound, a far less muddy tone and the sustain is awesome! She comes complete with the OHSC and a whole lotta vibe! She has a beautiful rosewood fretboard and a sweeeeeet and sultry Antique Natural finish with that really shows off the beautiful grain of the wood, with binding that loks as though it's yellowed.
This kind of wood is not only beautiful, but it is also very resonate. Sound is captured as stress between the grain and travels as it resonates through the body adding an extra dimension of sound. Along with the "Sustain Sisters," Gibson's original design, 2 5/8" solid brass circular studs, implanted in the center block into which the Tune-O-Matic Bridge is set, brilliance and sustain are further enhanced. When a string is played, these Sustain Sisters convert the string variations to physical energy, thus activating the top to do it's thing. Classic semi-hollowbody design and dual '57 Gibson humbuckers combine to produce everything from full-bodied growls to singing sustain. The sound is awesome, warm, full bodied, clean and versatile with the ability to go from clean warm tones through to smoking distortion.

This Custom Shop recreation was HANDBUILT in 2008 in Gibson's Custom, Art & Historic Division. She is 100% MINT, BRAND NEW, NEVER OWNED and comes complete with the Gibson Historic Hardshell case, COA, hang tags, "Goodie Bag", CTS pots and Burstbucker pickups times 2, the closest yet to the original PAFs! She a 1957 Les Paul, FAT AND POWERFUL! She weighs in incredible light at 8.9 lbs. Extremely resonate! Solid mahogany neck and back, a carved maple top, a classy Gold finish, every detail just as it was in the '50s. She has a rosewood fingerboard based on a 12" radius with a 24 3/4" scale length, and a nut width of 11 1/16". Neck inlays copy the original trapezoid design, and binding on the neck is narrow - as it was in the '50s. She has the Holly Head Veneer, Non-Weight Relieved Body and EXTRA LONG NECK TENON, combined with the separate bridge/tailpiece ABR-1 stop tailpiece and Burstbucker pickups which yields better sustain and quieter yet more powerful tone. She's a CANNON with a big fat early 50s neck and a huge midrange honk!

She's ALL ORIGINAL, RARE and BEAUTIFUL with a Premium ASH body and a Sienna Sunburst finish. Nearly 30 years vintage and in better than EXCELLENT SHAPE, showing a a little wear, a few nicks, a couple of dings and tarnished hardware, which only ads character to the vintage vibe. Comes with the NOHSC and tons of MOJO!
The big headstock, three-bolt neck plate, bullet truss rod and classic "F" tuners all mark the times as well as the attitude of the Rock'n Roll years! She has the original 5 way switch, 3 ply white black white pickguard and original matching 3 single coil FIRST EDITION 80'S BLACK BOBBIN pickups with flush poles. The serial number S997959 on the headstock dates to 1979 with matching serial number sticker in the neck pocket. Virgin soldier joints however, I can only read the pot codes on one of the pots (13781xx) and the neck dates to '82. All period correct for the time.
Seasoned to perfection with tone to die for, resonate and sweet with great harmonics and overtones, powerful and punchy. She screams Hendrix/SRV. She's got the high end fidelity to really scream, bite, soar and articulate. Action is light, she plays like butter. Medium frets with plenty of life left are perfect for bends. She really nails those Blues licks with more control and a bigger bite. Acoustically, she has more resonance than any. You can feel the vibration all over the entire guitar and plugged in she will BLOW YOU AWAY with incredible sustain and power.
