The phase craze came about in the 70s. All major effects makers had a phase pedal of some sort. Various degrees of phasing and swirling leslie type effects are possible with phasers.
This phase pedal takes us back to a certain script model phaser that Eddie Van Halen used to create some of his earlier signature tones. This phaser has faithfully recreated the subtle sounds of that early script phaser. With the modern addition of true bypass switching and brightly colored LED indicators.
