It's this kind of Flame that captured the MOJO of the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard! This kind of figured Maple is very hard in texture and reflective. Found in less than 1 in 1,000 trees, this kind of wood, captures stress between the flames of grain and produces a loud, powerful projective sound. This guitar is extremely resonant and extremely light, weighing in at 9 lbs 1 oz. The neck measures .949 at the 1st fret and 1.033 at the 12th. She's perfectly balanced, light on your back and powerful with tons of that mid range GROWL! This guitar will out perform other Historics in a way you just wouldn't believe until you plug her in.
