Vintage 20's C.F. Martin Style 2k Soprano Ukulele. 13.75" scale. 1 7/16" nut width. 6.25" bottom bout. 2 5/8" deep. This is a beautiful example of early handmade C.F. Martin. Gorgeous figured Koa top, back, & sides. This is not only exceptionally beautiful but also produces big warm tone and excellent projection. The one piece mahogany neck has a comfortable flat profile. Couple these together and you have yourself a sonorous instrument. The Grover 'flanged barrel' machines have the grained ivory pegs, bar frets, and lack of a headstock decal all date this to mid to late 20's. The 6 ply rosette, multiply body binding, and gorgeous figured Koa give this impressive aesthetics. Pre-1930's in remarkable shape for it's age.
