This is a Line 6 James Tyler Variax model JTV-69 in a stunning transparent antique white finish. This is the USA-made model, head & shoulders above the Korean models in both build quality and playability.
The Variax has 28 guitar models of the most classic, sought-after guitars in history, including Les Pauls, Strats, Teles, and amazing acoustic models. Also included are resophonics, a banjo, and a Coral sitar.
A new feature for the James Tyler Variax is the ability to change tunings on the fly! Go from standard to drop-D to DADGAD, to a variety of open tunings just by turning the tuning wheel. You can also design your own tunings using the "Virtual Capo" and save them to the guitar's internal memory.
The JTV-69US is the only model Variax with a vibrato tailpiece. A Tusq self-lubricating nut and Hipshot locking tuners ensure that the strings will return to pitch every time!
Included with the USA model is an extra battery, battery charger, and a hardshell case. All Variax guitars come with a Variax-to-USB interface which, when combined with Line 6's Workbench software (free download from Line 6) allows you to create your own custom guitars not possible in the "physical world". You can choose body style, pickups, and even change resistance values for the volume & tone controls, as well as changing tone capacitor values, all from the computer & stored in the Variax internal memory.
