SKU: 7326K Baritone
Factory made in Southern California, the 7326 six string "Baritone" is made stronger for those heavy baritone string sets and can accomidate up to .070's.
Sporting not just one, but two extra wide slotted .090" string hooks and two extra large string rollers on the E and A strings, then a third spring was added to help equalize those bigger string sets. This baby also locks into a fixed bridge at the turn of a key!
Every 7326 Baritone come stock from the custom shop with three normal tension springs already mounted as shown in the picture right, and three extra bass springs. That way if you need them for extra heavy string pull, you can mix and match the springs to your desired tension and playing style.
For instance... you can use just the two outboard normal tension springs for sets of .009-.010's (the 7300 has 2 springs), or lets say you use a heavy set of .010's, you can add the 3rd spring in the middle. As you get into heavier strings, like into the .011 territory, remove the single inboard spring and replace it with one bass spring to match that string pull. For .012's and up.., you can remove the 2 outboard regular springs and replace with the bass set, giving you 3 bass springs for extreme pull.. As with every Kahler, you have complete spring tension adjustment from the top of the unit, and with this model... you cover every possible string pull.
Best if tuned to the common baritone tuning of: B,E,A,D, F#,B, the 7326 model should only to be used on flat surface guitars.
