No comparison! This SG body & neck far outclasses the modern Gibson Historic Division. This one simply ROCKS THE HOUSE!! This guitar has TONE upon TONE!! Stadium-ready sound comes from two amazing Gibson mini-humbucking pickups (same as the Les Pauls of that era) that will dish out creamy clean tones, screaming sustain, and gravelly crunch. Sustain and tone are AWESOME--chiming warmly and sweetly in normal amp mode; grinding out powerful bursting leads in amp overdrive. Sustain will last from now until practically next year.<br/><br/>
