1962 National Studio 66 Model

Premier Guitar February 2008

A great playing guitar with “Gumby” headstock and Brazilian rosewood fretboard. It’s Sea Shell Pink with a seashell-shaped pickup that sounds like a big Tele. Even the most jaded audience member will do a double take when see they see this guitar on stage.

I have a 62 red glenwood that is missing the original tailpiece and bridge. I also think the neck has been repainted sometime in the past because the keys are not original and the nameplate on the front is not in the correct place and the serial number plate on the back is missing, but even with all that said it is still a 62 Glenwood

I bought one of these in 1982 for $60. I had no idea what I had. The music store gave me $200 in trade when I bought a Strat Plus in 1988. File this one under "Guitars I Wish I Still Had"!
