Becker ABR

Becker ABR The Becker ABR is an entirely handcarved, neck-through instrument. It has a 5-piece ziricote and maple top with ebony accents and a matching headstock overlay. The intricate 7-piece neck and accented sides are made from aged Honduran mahogany with curly maple. The fretboard features a 16” radius with a 24.75” scale length, while the ebony fretboard has mother of pearl fret and side dots with maple accents and ebony binding.

The guitar is fitted with ebony and ziricote knobs, tailpiece, pickup rings and bridge, but can be easily converted to a Tune-OMatic, depending on the player’s preference. The ABR’s earthy tones are amplified by two custom shop Seymour Duncan “Beckerbucker” pickups, resulting in a clean, organic tone. All edges are heavily rounded and sanded to a sea glass feel. It has a lacquer finish and is fitted with a set of chrome Gotoh 510 tuners, an ebony backplate and a black pearl Becker logo.
