NYC's West 48th Street - Sammy Ash Guitars

Premier Guitar
Premier Guitar July 2008

New York, NY (June 11, 2008) -- What do you expect from three high-end, guitar-driven music stores within walking distance of each other, all on the same street in the nation's biggest city?

A LOT of guitars.

Sam Ash Guitars is a good place to start. The selection is deep and fat. This store is also a busy hub where artists and gear experts are working together to make things happen. You'll get a taste of that while watching this video -- see how a few phone calls leads to the next Martin 12 string signature series guitar.

Thats funny...the audio of a guitar store tour drowned out by piano music...who is the keyboardist with evil intent???

Those Relic Strats at 4:55 are pretty sweet. Would love to have the same look/construction/sound as those classics but without the vintage price or fear of denting one. Too bad he didn't fire one up for us to hear.

I had no idea Sam Ash stores had so much great used gear. I was about to rail you guys for running a commercial for these guys but this is actually cool. You guys need to do this with shops in LA. They've got some stores that may beat this.

I didn't realize the NY Sam Ash was so sick. That shop is better than anything they have here in greater Pittsburgh. I think I saw my next Les Paul hanging on the wall.
