Carvin The Carvin SH550 Carved Top is a semihollowbody masterpiece. The guitar’s sculpted top is highly figured curly flamed maple; the back of the body and neck are made with hand-selected mahogany, adding warmth and enhancing the tone imparted by the guitar’s S22 Classic humbuckers. The 25” scale neck features an ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays and the headstock has a figured maple overlay.

The SH550 also includes gold appointments, with a 24k gold-plated “Carvin” logo on the headstock, gold Sperzel locking tuners, humbuckers, knobs, bridge and tailpiece.

on 04/29/2009 		The demo run on line falls apart, I get three word and it pauses, actualy stops and distubing as my info is not worth listening to with out serious consern. I a ther any other way to hear this demo?

on 04/09/2009 		I've just obtained one and, I can't put it down. I was fully prepared to put different pups in it but, no need to. The guitar absolutely rocks!! Go ahead and buy one. You wont regret it.

Mahagony bdy with a maple beautiful maple top. No where, absolutely no where, on the internet can I find a sound clip of this beauty. Talk about frustration!
