The Carvin SH550 Carved Top is a semihollowbody masterpiece. The guitar’s sculpted top is highly figured curly flamed maple; the back of the body and neck are made with hand-selected mahogany, adding warmth and enhancing the tone imparted by the guitar’s S22 Classic humbuckers. The 25” scale neck features an ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays and the headstock has a figured maple overlay.
The SH550 also includes gold appointments, with a 24k gold-plated “Carvin” logo on the headstock, gold Sperzel locking tuners, humbuckers, knobs, bridge and tailpiece.

This has got to be the guitar for me!
Mahagony bdy with a maple beautiful maple top. No where, absolutely no where, on the internet can I find a sound clip of this beauty. Talk about frustration!
