Guitars-in-progress get colorful

Premier Guitar May 2008

Mundelein, IL (May 8, 2008) - Every guitar is a blank canvas to Chewy, the Paint Guru for Washburn and Parker guitars. He oversees the process of crafting each instrument's visual impact, whether that means bringing out the natural grain of tonewoods, coordinating a killer color scheme or painting custom graphics.

In this video, Chewy walks you through his shop where you can see guitars at various stages of the process.

35 guitars a day between 2 companies ? Does not seem like too much demand. looks like they use a sub contractor / auto body shop and not in house. No slam on the guys in the video, cool stuff, but 35 in a day ? PRS / Gibson can do that in 10 minuets.
