Alsip, IL (May 1, 2008) - Here's a treat for gearheads who like to look under the hood of any music-related piece of equipment. You know -- electronics, moving parts, lights -- we're suckers for that stuff. In this video we take a look at the guts of a 1979 Peterson Strobe tuner and a modern one as we check out the company's repair shop.
Tuning technician Sue Haslam explains how various tuners were built to dial in a pitch to a tenth of a cent or even a thousandth of a semi-tone.
