Video interview with Mike Skubic of Peterson Tuners

Premier Guitar May 2008

Alsip, IL (May 1, 2008) - For many guitarists, strobe tuners are the only way to go, but dragging one to gig after gig is easier said than done. Enter the Virtual Strobe Tuner, invented by Mike Skubic of Peterson Electro-Musical Products, Inc. A mainstay on many a pedal board around the world now, as well as on countertops and in all sorts of racks and custom applications, it all started with a guy wondering how the reliability of a classic strobe could be translated into a modern design without moving parts.

Skubic took a moment to chat with us about his creation during a recent Premier Guitar On Location stop in the Chicago area. It's interesting to note that the Virtual Strobe is still being matched with new situations, keeping Skubic busier than ever!
