Parker Acoustic Bass PAB40
Parker promises that the PAB40, an acoustic/electric bass, gives a new level of quality and sound to a performance bass. Utilizing the same groundbreaking body shape as Parker’s Event Series guitars, the PAB40 uses the Soundslot design and features customized Fishman Matrix Bass System electronics. American Black Walnut was chosen for the body because of its deep sound qualities, and Parker says the ebony fingerboard and bass balanced bridge add solid punch and sustain to the bass.
MSRP $2249.90

Custom Tones Ethos Overdrive
The Ethos Overdrive was inspired by a very famous, and much sought-after, boutique guitar amplifier. All of its features were designed to emulate the tone and responsiveness of this amplifier. The key to the Ethos tone is its ability to transition from clean to overdriven tones with just the articulation of the guitar pick or guitar volume control. It features three Tone Stack Toggle Switches: Brite, Modern/Classic and Jazz/Rock. It also provides two independent channels with an integral boost function, resulting in three different footswitch-selectable sounds.
MSRP $395

Gallien-Krueger’s Fusion 550
Gallien-Kruger introduces its first bass head featuring an all tube preamp. The Fusion 550 bass head incorporates a uniquely-designed six-stage tube preamp paired with a 500-watt version of the high current solid state power amp used in the 1001RB-II. The Fusion 550 includes motorized knobs which allow you to store two different settings. This bass head also features a simplified version of GK’s exclusive 50-watt Horn Bi-Amp System. Other features include tube-driven four band active EQ and voicing filters with a frequency select for the contour control. The rear panel features Neutrik Speakon and 1/4” speaker output jacks, effects loop, tuner out and a footswitch input jack. Also on the rear panel is a DI output, which uses an isolated transformer for ultra-quiet operation.

T-Rex Twister
T-Rex is introducing its own take on the legendary chorus effect with the release of the T-Rex Twister. The pedal combines two classic effects, the chorus and flanger, into a single box. In chorus mode the light/heavy switch lets you quickly switch between two classic variations of the chorused sound, while the Tone control lets you take some of the top off for a subtler effect. Features include: controls for Depth, Rate, Level, Tone and Regeneration; chorus/ flanger and light/heavy buttons; Mono and Stereo output options; and an input level knob located on the side of the Twister to help maintain a clean signal.

Roger Mayer Updated Effects
Roger Mayer has announced the release of four new effects: the Classic-X, the Stone-X, the Mongoose-X and the Spitfire-X. Each pedal is an updated version of the Rocket series of pedals. Additional features for each include a “Fatness” Control, hard wire (true bypass) or two buffered outputs, and a standard DC power jack with internal filters to ensure low noise performance. The front end buffering of the two fuzz pedals, Classic-X and Stone-X, allows the fuzz circuitry to interface better with standard wah pedals, and full tonal capabilities of pickups can be heard without the loss of low impedance input details.
MSRP $ 239.95 (each pedal)
