1969 Fender Rosewood Telecaster

George Harrison's choice guitar on his last performance as a Beatle.

Premier Guitar October 2008

This amazing rosewood Telecaseter is just like the one George played on the roof of the Apple headquarters during the last live Beatles appearance. It’s a symbol of one of the most iconic moments in rock n’ roll history. It features a solid rosewood body sandwiched between a two-piece lamination. The neck is also solid rosewood and features a maple plug in back for truss rod installation. It’s capped off with an original poly finish.

wern't there 2 of these made one for george and one for john? I seem to recall that these were made by philip kubicki (back when he worked for fender)as promo items for fender to test the waters for a "rosewood" product line.

OMG, I actually blew a chance to bid on the very guitar GH gave to EC as a gift several years ago, if my memory is right it sold for only $6700...This is a wonderful instrument, trust me I've be a Tele'man for 22years. My uncle got me one and I haven't looked beyond it...he played with Merele in Cali.
