Well hello there Premier guitar readers and welcome to a bonus version of this months Lethal Guitar with yours truly, Jeff Beasley. Thanks for logging on and tuning in to one of the most popular lesson column on the web! I promised you guys some blistering lessons with some friends of mine and this month I’m very excited to give  you guys and gals some incredible guitar licks compliments of a great friend of mine…the one and only Michael Angelo Batio.

Michael gave us some of the coolest licks from his Jam Tracks CD. The most popular track on the CD is a great tune entitled “Dream Up”. In this lesson, I’ve included an awesome excerpt of this guitar masterpiece from Michael. It includes the rhythm and the mind-boggling lead parts together, illustrated here for you, my beloved Lethal Guitar readers. If you like a challenge, and I know you do, try this one on for size. It’s choc' full o' licks and tricks from one of the greatest guitarists of our time. So without further ado, off we go…

WOW! Amazing guitar work here! This tune really packs a punch musically and of course, technically. As usual, my suggestion would be to take it piece by piece, slowly with a metronome. Also, be sure to check out the feature in this month's print version of the mag where Michael and I collaborate on a killer lesson as well. Oh yeah, I’ll be playing with Michael on August 21st in Tupelo so if you’re in the area come check us out at the Dean clinic. Thanks and I’ll see you next month in Lethal Guitar.
