In our first Montreal gallery, we check out the electric side of the show, which was new this year, with a few acoustics thrown in for good measure.

Canadian Ray Gander has more than 40 years of experience building electric guitars. His Taurus (left) is made with cocobola, abalone and bloodwood. His Gemini has a maple top, mahogany back and neck, and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Gander has his own carbon fiber reinforcement beam and patented tremolo.

on 07/17/2009 		yeah, but like 99% were gorgeous... but they were all WAY TOO PRICEY !!! the cheapest one i saw was i think 4000$... but damn, this is a nice event, with the jazz festival, i'm happy to live in montreal.

on 07/13/2009 		I wish I worked at premier....you guys get to cover some awesome gigs...Montreal is definitely on my list to go to next year...a real guitar show; not just another useless flea market...and the jazz festival to boot...thanks for bringing this awesome event to my attention
