In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to play two separate pieces in DADGAD tuning. First, we'll quickly review how to get into DADGAD tuning. Then, with the first piece, through use of pull-offs, hammer-ons and fingerpicking a melody over a pulsing bassline, I'll show you how to achieve a Celtic type of feel. Then, in the second piece, which is also slightly based on a Celtic feel, we'll continue using techniques from the first piece, but then incorporate some open-handed strumming patterns as the piece transforms into a hard-rockin' acoustic type of riff.
Enjoy it!
