Wow! These Polaroid "quality" photos really suck.

I'm a little disappointed that "Premier Guitar" doesn't have premier information concerning Chet Atkins guitars. The Fleur-de-lis guitar is not an SST model. It is a Gibson Studio Classic. I expect better information when it comes to a legendary guitar player. Spend a little more time on your homework, and get your facts straight, Premier Guitar.

I love to see this kind of history. Music crosses over so many different genres. Country, Southern Rock, Folk, Bluegrass and a few more I many have overlooked. To think that many of the guitars in this photo essay have been guitar we have seen or heard at some time during our lives. If you ever get the chance to visit the Martin Museum at the factory in Nazareth, PA, you will see similiar kinds of history. It doesn't get any better than this!

Great to see these beautiful old instruments full of character and history. Got to say though, I was surprised not to see a single telecaster in there :0{

I love this kind of stuff ... sure it is all sitting in a museum, but it least it hasn't been lost in fires or other catastrophic ends many guitars suffer ... we'd all love to play these guitars, but at least we can appreciate them in a gallery or visiting the Hall of Fame in person, i know I plan on it

Dickey Betts and Hank Jr. - would have been great to be a fly on the wall for that "visit". But giving away a 57 Gold Top? That would have to have been a special "visit" and now it sits in a museum...what a "trip" - someone pass me the mason jar - fill it first please.
