I bought a Line 6 spider 4 - 150 watt amp c/w with two 12" speakers. This is my first line 6 amp . I currently own many brand name amps but want I liked about this amp is all the features . This amp is not a one trick pony. If you were going to buy the pedals that this amps has to offer , you would be spending thousands of dollars . Best of all it is in one package , no pedal board or lost of signal from going threw to many pedals. Preset are fine , its nice to be able to sound like your fav. artist at a touch of a button. I love that I can turn the volume down with out the amp cuting out and still get a great sound! But be warn this can be loud!!

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! trust me I am a spider III owner who does not understand how line 6 could release such a crappy product. The FX and all that are great, but the thing that matters in my opinion is THE TONE. When I try and get a decent heavy tone out of this (spider IV 120), the high notes just fall dead, the distorted tones just fall short compared to the spider III. It's a shame, because this amp has so many great features that the III doesn't, but tone comes first

Well, too many presets equals too few tone IMO. So I think the 30watter is the best of the batch, since no serious guy I know will play a spider amp live. For practice a decent guitar amp, I could replace my spider3 30w for the IV version.
