Smart move, Line 6. I've been waiting for a Variax that was a real guitar. Totally worth the price if James T's touch is truly felt. When do these come out?

Nice Coverage Premier Guitar.com
Re: The James Tyler / Line 6 Variax Guitars (Three models) I think
that having the 25 modeled guitars (with technology advanced as well
) is great, plus the 3 models of guitar to pick from. I realize James Tyler is a experienced and excellent luthier, But the USA models at $3,000 is out of my price range and the Korean Models are pushing it as well, caveat though is You get a "functional" real guitar as well with Seymour Duncans in at least two of the models if not all. (I have a Line 6 Variax 500 (discointinued) that I am content with and I paid significantly less than the Korean model or USA models. Mine is/was made in China (I will double check that and so was was my Pod 2.0 and my current Pod XT, I hope they do well, I do see where the Parker Fly (no longer owned by K.Parker as far as I know) The Adrain Belew model with Pick ups, Line 6 technology, ? sytnth access and ? $7-9000.00 ( its a guitar that does just about everything ) and then the Moog Guitars where do they fit in to the equation ? I honestly believe that Line 6 was and is at the forefront
of modeling wether amp/cab/effect modeling through their amplifiers, Pod Series, (desk top and floor board "Live Series" as well as their individual pedals and modules and the looper and M9 and M13 effects and looing capability (the M13 seems to have each of the 4 pedals that sell street at $249 ( Modulation, Filter, Delay and Distortion and added the Verbazilla individual pedal and a looping capability and then its the old digital versus analog (but A/B and they do a great jog and to buy each effect (would be incredibly expensive (and if You could locate them all) same with the amp/canb models in the Pod 2.0, Podxt, PodX3 (and Live Series of The XT and X3
plus Bass Pods as well and Live Models ) the new Spider Amps and the Bogner combination is interesting, I had a Line 6 Flextone III XL 2x12 and eventually sold it as it was the loudest amp I had ever
