Charlie Hunter goes behind the nut of his Jeff Traugott Model RGE 7-string to bend the pitch of his 2nd string during a mini-concert at the Montreal Guitar Show. Traugott describes the multi-scale length guitar as having a 25.374” (average) scale length. The guitar plays perfectly to Hunter’s style, which involves playing bass and guitar at the same time. Hunter tunes the RGE’s three bass strings to G—C—F and the four guitar strings to C—F—Bb—D.
