One of the hottest groups in Canada, the Lost Fingers played the Montreal Jazz Festival’s biggest outdoor stage multiple times. The trio, named after Django Reinhardt’s two mangled digits, plays a modern version of Gypsy jazz. Their tongue-in-cheek covers of ‘80s tunes by the likes of ACDC, Michael Jackson, Samantha Fox and others helped kick start a career that has already achieved platinum CD sales and Juno award nominations. Guitarists Alex Morissette and Christian Roberge play Gitane guitars.
