I have had a BB Plus + and have used it more as a boost. Not real happy with it stan alone. Think the amp has to already be in overdrive for it to sound good. None the less, glad I got one.

Just bought one of these and anxiously awaiting UPS. Bought it for that great grand funk Bee Fuzz. Cannot wait!!!

I have Tone Bone Plexi, I loveit, I do not love the volume controls though. Too much Varience between Ch1 and Ch 2. Am I doin something wrong?

Couldn't agree more, I love this reliable sweet sounding pedal I truly rely on with it's sweet warm overdrive. I have and still have many I cherish. Homebrew Power screamer, Barber Tri-fecta, Tone Bone Plexi, BB Plus +. Tube Screamers etc. Its my Baby, as well as Fulltone Fatboost.

I do own a NeoDrive and vouch for it. I did AB it with a Zendrive and both nail "D" sound in front of a good tube amp. The NeoDrive has true bypass, it delivers a transparent sound and you can set it so that you can have OD leads together with clear chords just by picking differently. During a recent gig I had it in front of a 1966 Fender PR (& 69 Gibo 335) and both pre and power amp sections were overdriving. The PR was singing all the way... You can't can't go wrong with these "Dumble-in-a-box" boutique pedals.

My favorite distortion pedal is AYA R Drivesta and drives from Thunder Tomate.

Thanks soooo much for posting my submission. To hear the Stigtronics Fat Classic in action, check out "You Can't Save Me," "The Way You Are," "Indiana" and "This Love I Can't Carry" at www.myspace.com/glasshalo! The tone is absolutely killer for rhythm and lead!

Barber LTD SR pedal for light overdrive, Paul Cochrane's Timmy Pedal, Clark Gainster by Barber, and Okko Diablo are all on my board. None can be touched for what they do.

Xotic AC booster, a light distortion/boost pedal, but adds enough grit and body to push a tube amp into overdrive, very musical and natural sounding. Has good attack and cuts through well. Works good with both a clean and distorted amp, your amp will still sound like your amp, but with more hair. The only OD/Boost and/or Distortion pedal I've ever kept and use regularly, and I've used several over the last 25 years.

I finally attained my "Holy Grail " overdrive.. A boutique hand made pedal from tokyo japan called the AYA Drivesta.. I heard it with a guitarist I was teching for from a broadway singer Elaine Paige show, but the guitarist was messing around with it before soundcheck and I was blown away.. I'm a touring guitar tech so I've seen, played, tested, tried and bought a fair few pedals on my tours, but this pedal was firing on all cylinders.. its just so versatile, three tone dials and a gain and volume, it also has a buffer switch and a switch to contra, the 3 drive selects, OD1, OD2 and a DIST.. I found one for myself on bay from a guy in a studio somewhere in the states.. I'll have this thing till i die. and I've never said that about a pedal before!
