Pro Pedalboards 2010
John Baizley (Baroness)
John Baizley has a more complex board that incorporates some of the more out-there effects heard on the band’s recordings. Baizley says he changes up his board for every tour, but gravitates toward true-bypass boutique pedals. Pictured is his “75 percent” pedalboard used on the spring 2010 Baroness tour with Mastodon in support of Baroness’ "Blue Record." The signal chain includes an Ernie Ball Volume pedal, Fulltone OCD, Boss DD-3 Digital Delay, Maxon AD999 Analog Delay, Blackout Effectors Whetstone Phaser, Blackout Effectors Twosome, Retro-Sonic Chorus, and Electro-Harmonix POG-2 for cathedral-like organ sounds, powered by a BBE Supa-Charger. He also used an MXR Blue Box and Catalinbread Semaphore Tremolo (not pictured).
