Andy Williams (Every Time I Die)
Known for his thrashing, aggressive tones, Every Time I Die’s Andy Williams goes old-school by relying on a ’70s Marshall JMP giving him a thick, saturated tone with plenty of bottom-end and mids. To flavor his tone a bit, his pedalboard has a Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor, an Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, a Death By Audio Octave Clang, which Williams’ describes as being a perfect-10 match with his JMP head because of the fuzz pedal’s octave control that creates some harmonic undertones the amp alone can’t make. Other pedals include a Boss PS-5 Super Shifter, a Dunlop Crybaby QZ1 Q Zone, an Electro-Harmonix POG2, and a Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner. The entire SKB PS-45 board is powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus power supply.
