Show Us Your Gear: Pedalboards II
Michael Wickett
Michael plays for contemporary worship services, so he has to be ready for a wide range of styles, without a lot of time for tweaking controls. To accomplish this, he uses a Carl Martin Octa-Switch. Before the Octa-Switch is a TC Electronic PolyTune, true-bypass modded Dunlop Cry Baby, and MXR DynaComp. Loop 1 has a low-gain Boss OD-3 overdrive; Loop 2 has a higher-gain Boss OD-3 and a Pro Co Rat; Loop 3 has an Ibanez TS9 set for gain and boost and a modified Boss BD-2 Blues Driver for a clean boost; Loop 4 has a Line 6 Tonecore Tap Tremolo, Electro-Harmonix Small Stone phaser, and Line 6 Tonecore Roto-machine; Loop 5 has a Morley volume pedal and Line 6 Tonecore Echo Park; Loop 6 has a Danelectro DE-1 Dan-Echo; Loop 7 a Line 6 Tonecore Verbzilla (or sometimes a second Echo Park); and Loop 8 has an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail reverb. The entire setup is powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power and Visual Sound 1 Spot.
