Doug Sloan
Doug built his own pedalboard with black rubber matting stapled to a white kitchen cutting board. It has interchangeable panels and kitchen handles, and he's added blue rope lighting underneath.

Wow, thanks for posting my board! It took a lot of work to get it together. One comment though, the Rush tribute band name is just The Working Men. We're a start-up project coming soon to the Atlanta area. Thanks again Premier Guitar!

Thanks for posting my board on page 28. I'm totally into clean wiring, carefully run ac and dc power lines, and using Mogami and Belden wire and Neutrik connectors. You can hear it at www.brentreedmusic.com All the pedal boards look very interesting. I liked seeing the different combination's and use of pedals.

Thanks for the feedback guys. 57 Stratman is right, taking the time to dress up you cables and wiring can go a long way to eliminate problems in the middle of a gig. Planning out the signal path so that your setup works with a variety of amps, etc. also makes life a lot easier when playing with different backlines and such.

Thanks for posting my board too! I agree with 57 Stratman, you need a hard case and have everything tied down if you don't want any mishaps performing. If you want to hear my board in action please check out my band High Cotton...

Nice combinations of pedals on most all of those pedal boards, but There are only a few that are in the condition that I would own. I have a Pedaltrain Pro, and I personally am fond of EHX, and Boss pedals, but it's not so much about what pedal's blow your skirt up, as it is neatness in assembling your pedalboard. This board by Mike McQuain illustrates my point. Take the time to think out where your pedals need to be, and run your power cords, and pedal connector cables such that they are neat, and wire tied together, not just running everywhere all over your board like so much black spaghetti. That's why I like my pedaltrain, because I can run the cables all underneath the board, along with my power supplies, all wire tied together which not only makes for a very professional looking pedalboard, but a functional one as well. If you pay attention to how you run and tie down your cables, you don't have to worry about your signal path being compromised by a cable coming un-attatched or worse broken during your show. I also suggest getting the hard case with your pedaltrain board rather than the gig bag, you'll be happy in the long run that you spent the extra $$.

Thanks for putting it up. The amps are a Vox VT15 and a Marshal MG30dfx. guitars are a 1999 stock Strat and a Squire Strat w/ SD SSL5's in the neck and middle. and a Epi LP Studio.
