Malagueña: Spanish Classic Arranged for Solo Guitar

Traditional Spanish dance music

Premier Guitar October 2010

Malagueña is a traditional Spanish dance with roots in Málaga, a city in the Andalucia province on the Costa del Sol coast of Spain. Malagueña orginated as an improvised folk dance among the Sevillian gypsies in Andalucia. Like much of the music in the Flamenco style, it uses the rhythms and melodies that date back centuries to the Moorish invasion.
