mr. clapton...i went to crossroads in antigua, i spent alot of money and it didnt work for me. i had a horried cocaine addiction, but i beat it... ive been sober now for 7 years and 3 months, i respect you and your music as much as anybody in this world but i think i deserve a refund on the time i didnt spend there.... i will gladly make a donation to your cause when im making the money that i am acustom to making.....ive never wrote a celebraty in my life...but i am requesting a response and i will gladley respond with how i became sober...it may help the way your organasation operates....hope to hear from you and wish you the best.

Wow I'd like to have the rig as well. Lots of good comments except for peckerhead petes, jerkoff johnny & gitcher the bitcher. Probably 7th graders who will never amount to anything except negative asswipes, without a clue.

Furthermore: Remember the "Cash For Clunkers" government program to stimulate union workers auto sales? Well this guitar auction should be called "Cash For Drunkerds"?
Yes, I like that!

You can't knock a guy for trying to support "his" charity; although I used to drink to much and one day decided to quit. What's the big deal with these "babies" needing a plush rehab? Just don't pick up a drink dumb ass! With the exception of that cool Tweed Twin this is basically all new "junk" being sold at stupid prices, nothing like his past auctions. With the bad economy, trouble in the middle east, and ECs deteriorating "Star Factor" I doubt prices will be up for this? One would be better to buy a barrel of oil or an ounce of gold for sure!

You need a kick in the @ss Gitcher & Johnny. Of course most of his good stuff's gone! Where were you when Blackie went for $900K? He's auctioning all this for a REHAB CENTRE you clown. New guitars from the last 5 years? Look again mate.

doesn't 7500 - 10,000 seem really low?
