Best sound I ever heard was my '58 L.P. Jr. and the '58 "Champ" it came with. On "12" it replicated the exact ripping sound of The Eagle's "One Of These Nights". All she needed was a jewel bulb and I stuffed an 8" stereo speaker. Those 3 tubes can really put out.

Lace-Sensors/ Callaham Vintage/ Sperzels/ 25 DB mid-boost w/ TBX is my Strat. Still unhappy with action. No micro-tilt. Shimmed once. DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO ON MULTI-RADIUS all maple necks? (9 1/2" x 14"?. Mighty Mite or Warmoth. ??

I am and always have been a big Clapton fan,but I have not been happy with his guitar/amp combination tone for quite some time, the last good tone he had was on the Pretender album, maybe he should go back to the Lace pickups and some other amps, his new amp collection sounds horrible,it's a shame that for the money they are asking they could not have come back with a better sounding line of amps.

Its for charity? Whos charity? What if its just a money laundering scheme where rich guys pass big cash back and forth buying $30k guitars so it doesnt have to go thru a bank. Silly idea Im sure. I wonder what the success rate in this posh Caribbean resort rehab is compared to the rehab centers in say downtown Newark or Oakland? You know, the ones that have to get by on a pissant pitiful budget? Are the local Antiguans welcome there? Or is it just for rich folks? Does anyone actually know? Has anyone actually seen this place? Does it even exist? With all the money raised for it it should be the biggest building in the Caribbean.

Wow I'd like to have the rig as well. Lots of good comments except for peckerhead petes, jerkoff johnny & gitcher the bitcher. Probably 7th graders who will never amount to anything except negative asswipes, without a clue.

Furthermore: Remember the "Cash For Clunkers" government program to stimulate union workers auto sales? Well this guitar auction should be called "Cash For Drunkerds"?
Yes, I like that!
