Lars Swanson's Modified Strat "Monday"
Lars says this Strat is his favorite guitar, "It is full of character and sounds fantastic." It's built with a 1978 lefty body and 1979 right-handed neck. The neck and middle pickups are from a 1966 Fender Mustang, with the middle rewound to Strat spec, while the bridge is from a 1967 Fender Jazzmaster. It has a 5-way CRL switch and CTS volume pot only, with a 1964 Strat knob. The vintage-style cloth covered wiring was done by Ted Vig of My Music Store in Golden Valley, Minnesota, who also did a refret and made an oversized bone nut to replace the Floyd Rose nut. Pictured behind this and the previous guitar is a Yamaha RA_200 rotating speaker unit.
