on 10/03/2011 		I shop at Subway Guitars in Berkeley CA, where Fat Dog, proprietor, has been building, reworking, setting up and selling me guitars for thirty or more years. His shop is cluttered and small and close, but the focus is on the guitars, and they're not all vintage beauties, although the ones I've gotten there are perfect and at reasonable prices, because Fat Dog cares only about the instruments. My main acoustic-electric has his name on the headstock, built from parts acquired from an out-of-business factory. He, it and the store rock mightily.

on 01/25/2011 		ON LONG ISLAND IN NEW YORK MICHAELS MUSIC IN FREEPORT HAS THE MOST AMAZING GUITARS AND TUBE AMPS.ALONG WITH THE OTHER MANY INSTRUMENTS THEY CARRY.TAKE A STEP BACK IN TIME ONCE YOU ENTER THE STORE. VINTAGE GUITARS HANGING FROM EVERYWHERE.YOU HAVE TO WALK INTO THIS STORE TO REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THAT IS IN THERE.
