Wow - just saw this! B2D is correct, it is a Floyd, but the strings feed through the back side under the fine tuners. I've had no trouble staying in tune, but finding spare parts is not easy! I bought it used before I hot-rodded it and suspect that the body is not original...it weighs more than a Les Paul!

Actually, that IS a Floyd Rose bridge on #3, but it's not the traditional double-locking variety. Fender had those on their Deluxe Strats a few years back but got rid of them.

I have 1971 ES 175D and recently bought this emperor regent as my walkabout guitar. Love it!! It's got great tone and feel.
