That's "our child #184 in pic #5, Joe also played it again in Des Moines,Ia for the ENCORE performance of Just Got Paid......he gave me the guitar at a show in Cleveland,Ohio and it was autographed that night......To Patty, I know my baby is in good hands, Love Joe" .the strap he used in this particular photo was in the case and Joe wrote on it, "To Patty, Thanks for letting me borrow your guitar!" To say it's an honor to own this guitar is an understatement. Joe is the best!

Definitely factory Bigsby...no extra tailpiece holes. Anyway Joe used it all over the new Beth Hart/Joe Bonamassa album, "Don't Explain," which (we believe) is going to win some Grammy nominations for sure! Will be released in mid September.

HGG, great info bit. I believe those Gibson's both 225 and 125 are true hollobodies, and the P-90 configuration very popular for that time frame just sounds amazing. I am not thoroughly convinced that was a "factory" Bigsby. I agree, Guild Guitar co picked up on that with Statfire II and Starfire III and in the late 90's did produce their version of ES-225 with P90 & Bigsby. http://shufflocity.wordpress.com/2008/12 /17/a-new-guitar-guild-starfire-iii-90/ Here's my take, why wont Bonamassa play this guitar?? Iv only seen the photos of him holding it.

J Tomczak -- we at Holy Grail Guitars sold Joe that guitar! It's a beautiful '57 ES-225TDN with a factory Bigsby. Pictured in the sold gallery on our website (www.hgguitars.com) -- hope that helps!

I think Joe is an amazing player whom I really like but I would love to hear him on a hopped up Strat. I love Les Pauls and I own one but to me the blues are meant to be played on a Strat. Love the new Dust Bowl material!

Two versions of the Morse. That is the newer scheme, which makes the bridge look like a triple coil. The old version had the slant single in the middle.

Latest issue of GUITAR WORLD has Bonamassa playing a Blonde Thinline ArchTop Gibson, with P90's, Ivory Tuning heads. Its a Vintage piece for sure, similar to Birdland even ES-137, but not quite. I cannot see it in any other of Bonamassa's arsinal of guitar pics. Its the coolest looking Gibson thinline ArchTop Iv seen EVER and I dont have a Clue to what Model it is. My tech incl STAFF at two (2) Guitar Centers here in NE Ohio are CLUELESS as well, b/c the Idiot who wrote the Article forgot to Note it in his report DUH... Freakin Guitar World Mag... now U know why I dont have a Subscription to that Publication. Anyone Know what Im referring too. The Guitar is literally identical to the Guild Starfire III w/ P90's Late 1999 early 2000's and I know my Gibson's but NOONE CAN IDENTIFY the Model Bonamassa is Playing in latest edition of Guitar World. . . any Clues
