23 hr 4 min ago 		In 1973 my father, who was born in Brazil and both spoke and wrote Portuguese, ordered 2 DelVecchio Dinamicos directly from the factory - one for an acquaintance who was a personal friend of Chet's, the other as a Christmas present for me. Other than lacking the white trim in the sound holes, it looks the same. He tried ordering more for others, but no more ever arrived - such are the risks of international shopping/shipping! I can't claim to play it like Chet (who can?) but it's fun and full of memories. Someone borrowed it and ruined the finish (I LEARNED MY LESSON!) but it still has that special Dinamico ring. Anyway, I count my self very fortunate to have a classic old Dinamico - just wish I could get that Chet Atkins sound out of it!!!

on 11/12/2012 		Have worshipped Chester for 53+++years & thus viewing this site & seeing "Chetenalia" is ~ for ME ~ SUPREMELY MOVING and [no blasphemy intended] akin to viewing Holy Relics or The True Cross. I'll NEVER forgive my DEAR late father for failing to inform me until Chet's return to USA in 1967 that I COULD have spent the day with Chet & Pa when CA came over to open The Nashville Room in West Kensington and Dad was detailed to 'mind' him for that day by his Company!!! AAAArgh! ANYTHING 'Chet' puts a lump in my throat & a tear in my eye.........man was a TRUE Genius of course. Bless HIS memory.
